Mediterranean spirit

Acqua Wood is Collistar’s new fragrance creation for men. This time round, the heart behind the new scent is a woman: Daphné Bugey, the talented young Parfumeuse. “On my travels around Italy I’m always struck by the typical scents of the Mediterranean countryside, where the intoxicating perfume of the maquis and the trees blends with the invigorating sea breeze. I tried to recreate the same sensation with Acqua Wood", she says. The fresh opening notes with accents of bergamot, lemon leaves and sharp hints of black pepper gradually give way to an intense, magnetic heart, dominated by aromatic notes of sage and lavender and balm-like touches of labdanum and ambroxan. The base notes are bold with a blend of cedar wood, sandalwood, guaiac wood and musk. 
In addition to Acqua Wood Eau de Toilette (100 ml and 50 ml formats), there are two specialties for every man’s beauty routine. They are the shower-shampoo, a crystalline gel which gently cleanses the hair and body and the deodorant, a natural spray helps protect the skin. Like the shower-shampoo it contains extract of willow bark for a long-lasting sense of wellbeing.
