New look for the Sala dei Dugento
Gucci and the City of Florence announce that ten sixteenth-century tapestries have now been refurbished using proceeds from the Gucci Museo and will be exhibited in the Sala dei Dugento (the Hall of the Two Hundreds) in the Palazzo Vecchio, a Florentine landmark and a symbol of the city.
This project underscores Gucci’s ties to the city and its dedication to the arts over the years.
Officeholders and city representatives Mayor Dario Nardella, Superintendent Cristina Acidini, Director of the Opificio Pietre Dure Marco Ciatti and Executive Vice President and Chief Corporate Operations Officer of Gucci Micaela le Divelec Lemmi presented the results in the Sala dei Dugento.
