A dress collier

A work of art: a dress collier tipically in Lora Nikolova’s style. Here we evidence the return of the graphic style made with various line thicknesses. Elaborated in black and white handmade with pearls, glass, glass paste components, resins and strass beads that assemble a wearable piece of jewellery.
From Sofia to Milan to design and produce creative and versatile jewellery. This is the artistic course of the young Bulgarian who graduated at the Academy of Arts Brera in Milan.
She created a corset suggesting once again the concept of constructing a net in which the different elements are fixed. In some aspects her approach reminds us of Kandinsky’s abstractionism or Picasso’s decompositions in the first part of the Nineteenth Century.
"The intention is not only to “weave” a net positioning the various components but propose a whole drawing handmade with wire and colorful bugle beads creating a graphic composition with different
line thicknesses" designer says.
The insertion of colored textile tassels which create contrast with the gem stones is an inovative element. Some pieces of the collection reveal parts of the face like eyes and lips, all interpreted in an abstract way. The mono earrings are a new entry. Their themes and inspirations follow the style of the collier in the collection.
