Elie Saab bets on hotels
During Milan Design week 2025 ELIE SAAB Maison, among the top brands in the world active in the haute couture and fine fragrance segment, announced the relocation of its showroom to Via Pietro Mascagni 2, in the heart of Milan. “This change represents an evolution toward a richer design vision where interior architecture, hospitality and lifestyle come together harmoniously", reads a note issued by the Lebanese designer. Spanning 450 square meters, the building embodies modern elegance and sophistication, the ceilings are high and the furniture display is enveloped in a pleasant ambient scent that leaves nothing to chance. The space invites moments of refined conviviality inspired by the cultural dialogue between Italy and the Middle East.
“This new flagship represents the future of ELIE SAAB Maison. It is not just a showcase of furniture but an immersive universe where craftsmanship, innovation and artistic excellence meet", comments Massimiliano Ferrari, president of Corporate Brand Maison, a division active in CB brand extension projects in the furniture and hospitality sectors for well-known fashion and luxury groups.
In addition to Milan, the Lebanese fashion designer is looking to the rest of the world, continuing its asset diversification activities. A project marking Elie Saab's debut in the world of hotellerie is scheduled to open in 2027. It will open in Andermatt, Switzerland, the Post Hotel & Residences built together with Swiss studio A++ Group. The project, with an estimated value of 65 million euros, renovates the existing Hotel 3 Könige Und Post, a historic structure dating back to 1788. Previews of the hotel were shown during Milan design week in the very spaces of Pietro Mascagni 2.
Salone del Mobile 2025 saw the launch of Sculpted Dreams, a collection that reinterprets classic aesthetics through fluid lines and bold volumes. "Inspired by the architectural landscape of Milan, the collection combines curved silhouettes, bold structural forms, and noble materials such as marble, bronzed mirrors, and tactile fabrics. Transparencies and plays of light add rhythm and depth, transforming each piece into a sculptural narrative", the company says.
Each room is conceived as part of an elegant private residence. A grand staircase guides visitors through a sequence of immersive spaces in which the furniture is elevated to the status of a work of art. One of the most striking rooms is dedicated to the ECLISSE sofa, positioned with a theatrical touch under original frescoes from Tiepolo's time. The journey continues into a bright dining area that opens onto a Milanese balcony overlooking Piazza San Babila, immersing the visitor in the heart of the city.
