For Sérum Végétal everything stems from an incredible plant, the Ice Plant.
Originating in the South African desert, the Ice Plant is able to adapt to extreme conditions and stands up to anything. Hence its nickname, the Life Plant.
Throughout the centuries and thanks to its incredible capacity to adapt, it propagated as far as Australia, the coasts of the American continent and around the Mediterranean. This plant has been in France since the 18th century.
Since 2008, the Yves Rocher Ethnobotanists and Phytologists went looking for this Ice Plant and brought it back to their laboratories in La Gacilly and Paris to study the plant and work with it to achieve excellence.
