Diamond and fragrance

Tiffany & Co., founded in New York in 1837 by Charles Lewis Tiffany, introduces its new fragrance. It is a bold scent created by renowned master perfumer Daniela Andrier of Givaudan. The sparkling floral musk is a contemporary take on the most precious ingredients of traditional haute perfumery.
The scent opens with top notes of vert de mandarine. At the heart a precious iris flower. It was an iris brooch set with demantoid garnet blossoms and Montana sapphires that earned Tiffany the grand prize at the Paris Exposition in 1900. "Harvested in France during the months of July and August, the iris butter is obtained through a unique hydrodistillation extraction, exclusive to the Tiffany fragrance, ensuring a pure, sensual and long-lasting richness to the final note", company says. This signature ingredient adds strength. Patchouli base notes wrapped in a blend of soothing musks is sensual on the skin. "The glass flacon takes its inspiration from the house’s most iconic diamond cuts. The elaborate faceting work at the base recalls the 128.54 carat Tiffany Diamond (perhaps the world’s most rare yellow diamond, with 82 facets) while the pure geometric lines of the shoulders mirror the house’s Lucida® cut diamond engagement ring", company says.
Like all of the jeweler’s creations, the fragrance is presented in the signature Tiffany Blue Box an internationally recognized symbol of style.
