The exuberance of color
Piave Maitex is an Italian company producing elastic knitted fabrics rightly considered today one of the most representative of its sector for production and innovation.
"Lingerie printed collection A-W 2015-2016 finds its inspiration in the contrast between tradition, carrying the reassuring elegance of a past full of certainties and revolution, with the exuberance of the design, the joy of life, color and nature. Everything is declined on technologically advanced fabrics, lightweight, warm and clear", the company says. The themes of the collection are: Luxury, enter the refined English atmosphere of the nineteenth century, dive into the romantic atmosphere of Jane Austen, the Bronte sisters, Charles Dickens. The materials are shiny satins with dark tones, aged motifs are printed with burgundy flock, brown, bronze, dark green, colors which rest on the fabric creating a fascinating game of surface effects.
British colour is the image of women that love eccentricity and luxury, the contamination typical of the Bohèmien world. The designs are geometric and abstract, colorful tones range from oil green, purple and aragost.
Adorable: this fresh theme carries the dream of the winter season, a portrait of nature and fable, a fantasy game going from Edith Holden to Beatrix Potter. Floral motifs, tie-like, small boquets, flowers and embroidered microlaces alternate with prints that reflect the architecture of the knits.
Graphic is a modern theme that is inspired by Pop Art, Expressionism, Cubism, Picasso and David Hockney. The revolutionary art that brings happiness and optimism, creativity expressed through colorful graphic elements. Small graphic motifs are colored with purple, fuchsia, royal blue and the ubiquitous black and white.
