WooDone S.r.l. comprises the Wood and nature lines by WooDone, the eyewear “handmade in South Tyrol” from a single piece of wood whose origin is certified by the Alto Adige Regional. Crafted by the expert hands of South Tyrolean artisans, each item in the Wood line is made up of eight layers of particleboard glued one to another, thanks to a custom-developed technology engineered to leave the natural veins of the wood intact, forming a sheet from which the front and temples are then obtained. Robin Wood, the wooden bowtie, is the most recent addition to the WooDone family. It is available in 4 styles in Walnut and Zebrano wood and additional 3-D styles in Wenge, Padouk and Walnut.
The ultra polarized filter is the heart of the INVU™ nine layer lens. This center layer selectively eliminates reflected glare. The polarizer removes the glare, while the color enhancement allows the true colors to come through and enhances the contrast between colors.
