Five Stars Hotels in Jerusalem

The city of Jerusalem is usually associated to religious tourism and this is one of its most pronounced aspect. Its history and its culture are strongly linked to a sacred mark, but since its origin, the city has also been an important political and cultural centre, visited by Dignitaries, Ambassadors and chiefs of State.
The King David is a luxury hotel close to the Old City and the most modern districts of Jerusalem, which hosts kings and queens, prime ministers, presidents and celebrities in its mix of elegance and comfort.
Another piece of the city accommodation is the American Colony, in the East part of Jerusalem. It is a boutique hotel with swimming pool, well finished gardens, relaxing courtyards, three restaurants and bars, located in a building from the XIX century.
The building hosting the Waldorf Astoria is a little more recent than the American Colony one and its opening is very latest: beginning of 2014. After an accurate renovation of this building of the 1920s, guests are now welcome in a hotel with an historical taste but modern comfort. The reception is located in a winter garden decorated by wonderful flowers.
Passing from the history to the modernity of Jerusalem, the Mamilla is a design hotel with linear features created by the Italian Architect Piero Lissoni. Outdoor Lounge and Restaurant offers a wonderful view on the city. On the first floor of the roof, the Mirror Bar is famous for the high quality of its beverages as well as its exclusive Cigar Lounge.
Exiting from Jerusalem there is a beautiful boutique hotel of 7 rooms in Ein Kerem, the Alegra. It takes its name from the young Jewish woman who chose to live in this place with her love, a boy with Arabian origin.  So the rooms are dedicated to “impossibile” love stories, from Romeo and Juliet to Tristan and Isolde.
