Co-owned yacht with one click

Michael Schmidt, founder of the German shipyard Hanse and of the YYachts brand, brings to the market the YBreeze 75, a new concept of Daysailer in XXL version. It is a product capable of satisfying the most demanding Motoryacht owners who until now have given up on a sailing vessel due to the complexity of management and governance. The most innovative aspect will be the possibility of managing the boat with other owners. The YYachts organization in fact offers a concept of sharing and complete assistance capable of delivering the vessel, ready for use, to some particularly attractive destinations for sailing lovers such as Mallorca, Ibiza, Costa Smeralda and Saint Tropez. "The team has decided that every yacht sold in the Balearic Islands, Southern France and Mediterranean Italy area will be sold with the captain included in the price for the first year to ensure that the yacht is always available and ready to sail every whenever the owner wishes", the company says. "We are considering the possibility of introducing a sharing concept, allowing 2 or 3 friends from the same area to be co-owners of the yacht".
The technology then simplifies the procedures because the owners will be able to reserve it for the desired period with a special App. In fact, many yachts are under-used during the season, still generating huge management costs, while few owners are willing to sacrifice time for exhausting transfers. The solution proposed by Schmid could meet the needs of many new owners. The shipyard therefore offers a 23 meter (75 foot) Daysailer for lovers of easy daily outings with friends on an elegant and high-performance boat equipped with all the servo controls for adjusting the sails which can be steered with a small crew.
The designer Maurizio Cossutti has developed his version of a boat purified of all useless frills by creating a walkaround gangway with a reassuringly high bulwark, which almost hides the very sharp deckhouse. The large proportions of the hull do the rest, offering the impression of a clean-looking flush deck hull. The sail is important and consists of mainsail, self-tacking jib and gennaker, optimized for the light breezes of the Mediterranean. The keel is offered in three options to choose from, the most interesting with a telescopic draft varying from 2.5 to 4.5 m. The light and spacious interiors are designed by Wendover Studio of the group linked to the archistar Sir Chipperfield to enjoy a unique experience and feel truly "at home". Outside, the rear part of the deck hides a whole series of compartments for the annexes and for a retractable kitchen counter, to fully enjoy the boating experience. We look forward to being able to admire the YBreeze 75 in action, preferably by walking barefoot on her beautiful deck.
