New international alliances

Lumberjack, the maple leaf brand that since 2012 has been part of the Ziylan Group, one of Turkey’s major players in footwear and an industry leader with 5,000 employees, will end 2015 with sales revenues of 32.5 million euros. 2016 will also be a year of growth, with a projected 39 million euros. The average growth rate over recent years meets the established goal of 25%, considering that 2014 ended with sales revenues of 25 million euros.
"Economic data confirm the path set by management under the guidance of Andrea Vecchiato, Lumberjack’s managing director, while its international position has consolidated", the company says. Growth in the international market, with sales revenues doubling between 2014 and 2016, is an important step in the development of the company, whose exports will reach the threshold of 25% of revenues in 2016.
"Supporting these results are the new international alliances forged with important sales and distribution partners in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Its solid historic partnerships with consolidated operators in Greece and Spain have been strengthened", the company says. "Also fundamental to achieving business goals is the strengthening of the supply chain, which has made it possible to increase production volume in Europe, especially in Portugal and the countries of Eastern Europe. Strengthening the production chain also includes the project for optimizing synergy with the parent company Ziylan in Turkey, an invaluable resource for know-how".
The new dress models are one of the innovations of the men’s collection, completing a footwear line that was already very popular in past seasons. Even the brand’s classic models, from its work boot style boots to its deck moccasins, are reinterpreted and produced with attention to current fashion trends, without neglecting comfort and high-performing materials.
